Lumora Story
Long ago, in a quiet coastal town, lived a boy named Icar. He was known for his bold spirit and restless curiosity. While other children played safely on the ground, Icar spent hours staring at the sky, dreaming of flying like the birds that circled high above the cliffs.
His father, a skilled inventor named Dael, watched him carefully. Dael admired his son's courage, but he also understood the danger of ambition without wisdom.
One day, after years of experimenting, Dael completed a remarkable creation-two pairs of wings made from feathers carefully stitched together with wax and thread.
"These wings will let us fly," Dael said. "But listen carefully, my son. Fly too low, and the sea will soak the feathers. Fly too high, and the sun will melt the wax. Stay in the middle, and you will be safe."
Icar nodded eagerly, barely containing his excitement.
They climbed the cliffs, fastened the wings, and leapt into the open sky.
For the first time in his life, Icar felt the wind lift him above the earth. The sea shimmered below, and the clouds stretched endlessly above him. The world looked limitless.
At first, he followed his father's instructions, gliding calmly between the sky and the sea.
But the higher he flew, the more powerful he felt.
"Why stay in the middle?" he thought. "If I can fly this high, I can fly even higher."
He soared upward, chasing the bright sun that glowed like a golden crown above the world.
Far below, Dael shouted warnings.
But the wind carried the boy higher and higher until the warmth of the sun grew intense.
Slowly, the wax holding the feathers began to soften.
One feather drifted away.
Then another.
Before Icar realized the danger, the wings began to fall apart.
His bold flight turned into a helpless fall as the sky rushed away from him and the sea rose quickly to meet him.
The waves swallowed the place where he fell, and the sky grew quiet again.
Dael, watching from afar, understood the painful truth his son had learned too late.
Courage can lift a person to incredible heights.
But without wisdom and boundaries, even the greatest ambition can lead to ruin.
And so the story of the boy who flew too close became a lesson passed down through generations:
